Aaron Mackey

Dr Aaron Mackey was a project manager for the ApiDB Bioinformatics Resource Center at Penn Genomics Institute, University of Pennsylvania. He is currently employed by Glaxo-Smith-Kline. Aaron did his PhD work with Bill Pearson at University of Virginia. He contributed the FASTS [1].

Aaron is the co-author of many modules in BioPerl including Bio::TreeIO modules, Bio::SearchIO::fasta, and the GLEAN [2] tool which uses Bio::DB::GFF.
